Here’s a teaser for the Billabong Up North Sokolov Nahariya Surf Invitational happening this February 2009 at Sokolov Beach in Nahariya. Billabong will be teaming up with Zalul to educate attendees about the importance of protecting our seas and rivers. With 16 of the best surfers in Israel competing for the top prize during the competition it should be an amazing time!
Surfers are often the first to report sea pollution in Israel and many regularly suffer from illness after being exposed to polluted waters year round. For this reason, surfers have always been a strong force fighting against sea pollution around the world. You can find many of Zalul’s team members surfing at Tel Aviv’s beaches almost every weekend!
